This module aims to give you an understanding of the challenges posed by big data, an understanding of the key algorithms and techniques which are embodied in data analytics, and exposure to a number of different big data technologies and techniques. The curriculum comprises 180 credits, with one credit being equal to ten hours of student learning. Do I need physics to study AI?
A lot of the programming done and models created are based upon principles rooted in physics, which would allow you to get involved in this area of robotics and AI as well. Robotics and AI is a rapidly growing industry, and a physics degree will put you in a good position to pursue opportunities in the sector.
