For UAE Visa

The required documents for a United Arab Emirates visa application may vary depending on the sponsor, such as the airline, tour agency, or hotel.

  • 1-Passport

    Your passport must be valid for a minimum of 6 months from the date you intend to travel to the UAE.

    2-Completed application form

    3-Color photograph

    4-Color copy of passport details page

    5-Provide a confirmed round-trip airline ticket or a ticket for onward travel to another destination

    6-If you have previously traveled to the UAE, you will need to provide a copy of the pages in your passport that contain the entry and exit stamps.

    7-For minors, additional requirements must be submitted:

    • You must provide a birth certificate in either English or Arabic. If your documents are translated, the translation must be attested on the front page.

    • A photo identification card of either yourself or your parents/husband is required.

    • You will need to provide a copy of one of your parent’s tourist visa that was sponsored by the airline, tour agency, or hotel.

Note:
that residents from certain countries may need to provide additional documents during their UAE visa application process. Those applying for a sponsored visa, whether by family, friends, or companies, may also be asked to submit further documents. Additionally, residents who intend to sponsor visitors to the UAE must meet the minimum salary requirements.

Application steps

1-Collect all the required documents

  • Create JPEG copies of the documents.
  • Send all the required documents to the airline, hotel, or tour agency that is sponsoring your UAE visa.

2-Fill out the application form

  • Another option is to have the sponsor fill out the visa application form on your behalf. Provide them with the necessary information and ensure that all the details entered on the application form are accurate.

3-Pay the visa application fee

4-Submit your UAE visa application

  • It is possible for the sponsor to submit your visa application online on your behalf.
  • After the visa is approved, your sponsor will provide you with a copy that must be printed out.

Please note that the visa application process may differ based on the sponsoring airline, tour agency, or hotel for the UAE visa.

UAE Visa Fees

The cost of a Tourist - Short-term (single-entry) visa application fee may vary based on the sponsoring hotel, airline, or tour agency. It is important to note that all fees, including the visa fee, are non-refundable regardless of the outcome of the application.

Where to apply

The UAE embassies or consulates do not provide tourist visas. To obtain a tourist visa for the UAE, applicants should get in touch with one of the airlines located in the country or with agencies and hotels that can apply for a visa on their behalf.

When to apply

Even though the processing time for UAE visas is usually short, it is recommended that applicants submit their applications as early as possible.

UAE Visa Processing Time

The minimum processing time for UAE visas is five business days. Please be aware that the working week in the UAE is from Sunday to Thursday, and visa applications submitted during Fridays and Saturdays may take longer to process.

For approved visa applications:

  • It is mandatory to print your UAE visa as it is a necessary document for boarding your flight to the UAE.
  • Individuals who have received their UAE visa should keep in mind the following: All passengers traveling to the UAE are required to present a negative Covid-19 RT-PCR test result taken no more than 72 hours before departure.
  • The Covid-19 RT-PCR test certificate can be in either hardcopy or softcopy format and must be in either English or Arabic. Please note that SMS certificates will not be accepted.
  • Please be aware that you may be required to take another Covid-19 PCR test upon your arrival to the UAE.

  • For denied visa applications

    Visa applicants will receive notification regarding the status of their application, whether it has been approved or denied. Unfortunately, there is no formal appeals process for denied or rejected visa applications.
