When to Apply for a Iceland Schengen Visa
Visa requests must be submitted at least 15 days but no sooner than 6 months prior to the intended date of travel.
Where to apply
◉ Applications must be submitted through the Icelandic Consulate, a center for visa applications affiliated with Iceland, or a nation's consulate that handles Iceland's consular matters. ◉ Applications may be submitted through a Schengen state consulate that represents the interests of an Icelandic consulate in nations without an Icelandic consulate. ◉ Be aware that only 3 Icelandic consulates or embassies—Beijing, Moscow, and New Delhi—issue visas. ◉ Only applications from citizens or residents of that nation should be submitted. ◉ Candidates can look up the locations of Icelandic consulates and centers for applying for visas.
