For Cyprus Visa

All documents required for a Cyprus visa application must be in English.

For e-visa applications

  1. Passport
  • With a validity of at least 3 months after the intended departure from Cyprus
  1. A passport, permanent resident card, visa, or other proof of residence
  2. filled out and signed the visa application
  3. To be attached to the visa application form is a passport-sized photo.
  4. If the applicant is being invited by a person or a business from Cyprus, an invitation letter from an associate, business, or host in the Republic of Cyprus is required.
  5. Form for Assumption of Responsibility to Host, which the host must complete and have notarized
  6. Reservations for round-trip tickets (applicants for visas to Cyprus are encouraged to wait to purchase their tickets at this time)
  7. Reservations made at hotels or other evidence of lodging
  8. The following extra paperwork is requested from applicants who are minors:
  • letter from the minor’s parents or legal guardians authorizing them to request a visa to Cyprus
  • A copy of the minor applicant’s birth certificate with the parents’ names properly spelled out is required as proof of the relationship between the minor and the legal guardian. Death certificates are necessary if one or both of the parents are deceased. A copy of a document attesting sole custody must be submitted if one parent has sole custody of the child applicant.

Application steps

For e-visa applications

  1. Prepare all the required documents for the Cyprus visa application form.
  2. Decide the number of entries needed to visit Cyprus.
  • There are two Cypriot visa entry options available for tourists:
  • A tourist is permitted to visit Cyprus for up to 90 days in any 180-day period with a short-stay visa. This Cyprus visa is only valid for a single entrance and cannot be used to get a visa for immigration.
  • Visa with multiple entries: This Cyprus visa has a three-year validity term. The Consul General may, however, extend it up to five years in specific exceptional circumstances. A Multiple Entry Cyprus visa has a 90-day maximum stay limit every 180-day period.
  1. Download, print, and fill out the Cyprus Visa Application Form.
  • To get the application form, go to the Cyprus consulate or embassy’s official website in your country of citizenship or residence, or get in touch with the consulate or embassy to ask how to get it and fill it out.
  • The applicant must sign the application form.
  • A legal guardian must sign the application on behalf of any minors.
  1. Schedule a Cypriot visa appointment.
  • To find out if you need to make an appointment for a Cyprus visa and how to do so, get in touch with the Cyprus consulate or embassy where you plan to submit your application for a Cyprus visa.
  1. Submit the Cyprus application form.
  • The applicant must submit the Cyprus application form in person or through an authorized representative to the consulate or embassy of the country in which they were born, where they currently reside, or in the nation through which they plan to travel to Cyprus.
  1. Pay the Cyprus visa fees.

Cyprus Visa Fees

The cost of a short-stay (single entrance) Cyrus visa is €20, while the cost of a double or multiple entry visa is €60. The total must be paid in local currency and in cash. Regardless of the outcome of the visa application, all costs are non-refundable.

Where to apply

The processing time for Cypriot visa applications isn't anticipated to go over 7 working days under normal circumstances and if all the presented documents are accurate.

When to apply

It is advisable that applicants submit their applications for a Cyprus visa no earlier than three months before the desired travel.

Cyprus Visa Processing Time

  • Sticker visa applications that are submitted to Turkish consulates and visa processing centers should be processed within 90 days.
  • The processing time for e-visas can be very quick and take only a few minutes to complete. However, some applications may take longer to process depending on various factors.

  • For approved visa applications:

    The consulate will affix the Cypriot visa to the applicant's passport if the application for a visa to Cyprus is granted. People who have obtained their Cypriot visas are urged to double-check the information to make sure it corresponds with the information on their passports.
