For Turkey Visa
For e-visa applications
- The passport should have a validity of at least 60 days beyond the approved period of stay in Turkey.
- Possession of residence permits or visas from certain countries such as the UK, US, Schengen states, or Ireland may be one of the conditions.
- Showing proof of hotel reservations.
- Proof of the ability to financially support oneself during the stay in Turkey may also be required.
- Having round-trip tickets with specific airlines and confirming that the purpose of the travel is tourism-only could be additional requirements for the e-Visa application.
Note:
If you fulfil the requirements based on your nationality, you may be eligible to apply for a Turkish e-Visa.
For sticker visa applications
- Passport must be valid for at least one year from the date of application
- At least 2 blank pages
- Passport-sized photos
- Size 5 x 6 cm
- Plain white background
- Taken within the past 6 months
- Forward-facing with facial features visible and clear
- Valid residence permit, if applicable
- Documents pertinent to your trip
- Travel itinerary or a plan of your trip to Turkey.
- Proof of return to your country of residence or a ticket for onward travel to another country.
- Reason for traveling to Turkey.
- Flight reservations.
- Proof of financial means to support your stay in Turkey (such as bank statements, property ownership documents, business certificates, or other assets).
- Proof of accommodation (including booking reference number, hotel location, and contact information) or an invitation letter if staying with a host.
- Travel medical insurance
- Valid through the entire visa period.
- Copy of the insurance card and policy certificate which indicates the area of coverage in Turkey.
- Documents attesting to the applicant’s income status
- Applicants who have been invited by a person residing in Turkey must provide an invitation letter that includes the following details:
- Inviting person’s TR Identity or Citizenship number
- Permanent address
- Contact number
- Inviting person’s relationship with the applicant
- Income status
- Invitee’s length and purpose of stay in Turkey
- If an applicant is invited by an organization or company in Turkey, they should provide an invitation letter that includes the following details:
- Tax registration certificate of the organization.
- Guarantee of inviting organization that will provide assurances for food and accommodation expenses.
- Applicants below the age of 18 are required to submit the following additional requirements:
- A minor applicant must present an official written approval from both parents or legal guardians.
- If the parents of the minor applicant are divorced, the applicant must also provide divorce papers and official written approval from the parent who has custody.
- In case one of the minor applicant’s parents is deceased, a death certificate must be submitted along with the official written approval from the parent who has custody of the minor applicant.
- Additional documents may be required to support your visa application for travel.
Note:
Applicants who possess a valid visa or residence permit issued by certain countries, such as Canada, Ireland, UK, USA, or any of the member countries of the Schengen area, are eligible to apply for a Turkish eVisa.

Application steps
For e-visa applications
- Complete the Turkey e-Visa application form.
- Choose your country of origin.
- Indicate the type of travel document you have.
- Specify your arrival date in Turkey.
- Fill in your personal details and submit the form.
- After payment, you’ll receive an email with a link to download your visa.
- It’s recommended that you keep a digital or physical copy of your visa when entering Turkey.
- The duration of stay and the number of entries permitted may vary based on your nationality.
For sticker visa applications
- Prepare all the required documents.
- Fill out the application form.
- Go to the Pre-Application System of Turkish Sticker Visa on the given link.
- Choose the country and consulate where you wish to submit your application.
- Fill out the application form.
- Choose “Tourism” as the reason for travel on the visa application form.
- Decide the number of entries required for your visit to Turkey.
- Submit the form online.
- Print out the application form for your records.
- Schedule a visa appointment, if applicable.
- To submit most visa applications, applicants are typically required to schedule an in-person appointment at the nearest consulate or visa center. However, it may be possible to submit applications without an appointment during regular business hours. It’s best to contact the consulate or visa center to determine if an appointment is necessary..
- Submit your Turkish visa application.
- Applications should be submitted no later than one month before the planned travel date, but no earlier than six months before the date of travel.
- Generally, applications need to be submitted in-person at the consulate or visa center, but there may be some differences in submission procedures depending on the location.
- During the appointment, applicants should bring their paper application and other required documents.
- Applicants may be asked to provide biometric data, such as fingerprints.
- Pay the visa application fee.

For sticker visa applications: Applications must be made through the Turkish Consulate or a visa application center associated with Turkey. Applications must be submitted in the applicant's country of citizenship or residence. In countries where there is no Turkish consulate representation, applicants may submit their application to the nearest accredited consular office of Turkey.
